干南坤北离东坎西震东北兑东南巽西南艮西北是谓先天八卦离南坎北震东兑西乾坤艮巽位以四维是谓后天八卦自汉以来但知有后天而已至焦延寿京房辈纳甲卦气之学则又自为一家与先后天各不相溷也卦气起于中孚有十二辟公侯卿大夫之号古今厯家注厯皆用之及宋邵子乃得先天之学以传其说则以复姤为二至临遯为二分左右顺逆岀于画卦自然之序与汉儒卦气迥然两说今人因朱子本义用十二辟卦遂误以为邵子之说则非也
五行 六经论五行者始见于禹其作洪范也一五行一曰水二曰火三曰木四曰金五曰土其告帝也曰水火金木土谷惟修其作贡也曰六府孔修皆言五行也说者谓其源皆起于河图洛书之数葢图书之一六水也二七火也三八木也四九金也五十土也在图则左旋而相生在书则右转而相克也然土于图书为五十中宫之数本无定位无专体者也惟吕氏月令则以土直季夏之月以顺相生之序汉人之学又以土直辰戌丑未之四季而分旺于四时要之其说皆不可废攷文王后天图象坤艮二土独居夏秋冬春之交葢火必得土而后能成金水必得土而后能生木则土虽寄旺于四时五行之间而于此二处则其用为尤切张子朱子亦言水火非土所能制惟木金为土之所生也其义精矣
