洪范曰四五纪一曰岁二曰月三曰日四曰星辰五曰厯数岁者日与天㑹也日一日行一度三百六十五日有竒而匝天一周复与天㑹是为一岁而春夏秋冬统于其间矣月者日与月㑹也日一日行一度月一日行十三度有奇二十七日有奇而匝天一周又二日有奇而与日㑹是为一月而晦朔望统于其间矣日岀地而为昼入地而为夜以右行论之则为东行一度若以左旋论之特不及天之一度耳亦一周也故合昼夜以为日而晓午昬暮统于其间矣星者森列之名辰者躔次之舍垣宿则附天而行五星则迟速不一天分十二辰辰有三十度迭运循环周而复始是故一寒一暑以为岁一盈一缺以为月一明一昧以为日一经一纬以为星岁月日星纪于辰合岁月日星辰而为厯数以调四时之气以正晦朔之期以定晨昬之节推步以稽其运行观候以窥其躔舍所以成岁功而齐七政者莫大于此故以厯数终焉
