《焦氏易林》是西汉焦延寿撰写的象数易学著作，成书于汉代。全书共54节，约80648字，以《周易》六十四卦为本，按卦变关系排列繇辞。其基本体例为：以某一卦作为本卦，下附多个变卦条目，每条以韵语形式写出占断内容。该书在命理典籍中属于早期象数易学文本，对后世占筮类著作有一定影响，但并未系统论述后世命理中的用神、格局等概念。初学者阅读时，应先从全书开头部分开始，理解一卦之下如何列出变卦，以及繇辞与本卦、变卦之间的对应方式。可以先浏览导读对体例的说明，再逐节阅读原文，遇到“某卦之某卦”的条目时注意本卦和变卦的关系，不把单条繇辞从卦象背景中抽离出来理解。全书约八万字，宜分节进行，不必追求一次通读。通过这样的顺序，读者可以逐步熟悉汉代象数易学的表达习惯，并形成对全书结构的整体认识。
