又补曰：食神制杀，化鬼为官，因宜权贵。
三曰食神制杀格
食神制杀逢梟，不贫则夭。
盖四柱四七杀日生俱旺，无食神制杀，运入制伏之地，则为清高而贵显也。
戊辰日元，生于立春后六日，正戊土司令，月透丙火，生化有情，日支坐辰，通根身旺，又得食神制杀。
若止一点，再如食神气弱，又柱中有官杀，原赖此食神制杀，今被此枭印破去食神，不能来制杀，则反来克身，多主寿夭贫寒。
