What the Service Does Not Do: Scope and Limits

This entry sets out what the 命理服务 offered here does not do. The purpose is to make the boundary of the service explicit. Where a method cannot be checked against the source data, or where the available data are not sufficient for the claim being made, the method is treated as outside the scope of this site. The site does not act as a general divination service, and it does not publish interpretations that depend on rules that cannot be retraced from input to conclusion.

The site does not provide 抽签, and it does not perform divination on behalf of any person. On the 易经 side, the site does not provide online 起卦. The reason is that these procedures require either a ritual act of selection or a question-specific casting step that the site does not carry out for the user. The site does not claim to transmit the result of a draw or a casting, and it does not supply a hexagram reading as if such a step had occurred.

The site does not generate names, and it does not provide 姓名评分. The reason is that the various schools of naming rules conflict with one another, and there is no recheckable derivation from a candidate name to a numerical score. A number presented as a name score would therefore be misleading: the same name can receive different scores under different rule sets, and the site cannot show why one set should prevail. For that reason, the service stops before offering a number or a ranked list of names.

The site does not provide palm reading, and it does not make facial judgments. It does not publish any claim in which a person’s circumstances are inferred from facial features or palm lines. The site treats such inferences as unsupported by the data it can work with, and it does not present them as if they were part of the same kind of checkable procedure used for the 八字 material.

This does not mean that every interpretation drawn from the 八字 output is equally certain. The site distinguishes between the part that can be mechanically checked and the part that depends on judgment. The mechanical part is the arrangement and the naming of the components. These three situations are treated as warning signs, not as negotiation points.

The first situation is an opening that announces a calamity and then withholds the rest. The site does not do this, and it does not endorse services that do. The second situation is a demand for added payment as a condition for completing the reading. The site’s own material does not operate on that model. The third situation is a request for information beyond what is needed to set up the chart, such as banking details, identification numbers, or private family matters unrelated to the 八字 input. The site does not request such information.

The recommendation is practical. If any of the three occurs, the user should stop the exchange. The site does not advise the user to argue with the other party or to seek a refund through a long negotiation. The advice is to end the conversation. The same standard applies to offline services that imitate this site’s language but then add a paid 化解 step. The site does not sell a 化解 service, and it does not authorize others to sell one in its name.

The site’s refusal to provide the excluded services is part of the same position. A service that cannot show its steps should not present itself as if it could. A service that begins with fear and then asks for payment should not be treated as a continuation of the 命理 material this site publishes. The boundary is kept explicit so that the user can see what is being offered and what is not.
