日德有五：甲寅、戊辰、丙辰、庚辰、壬戌日是也。其福要多，而忌刑冲破害，恶官星，憎财旺；加临会合，但空亡而忌魁罡。此数者，乃格之大忌也。
大抵日德，主人性格慈善。
日德俱多，福必丰厚，运行身旺，大是奇绝；若有财官加临，别寻他格，正能免非横之祸。
若旺气已衰，运至魁罡，其死必矣！
或未发福，运至魁罡，体格既好，防生祸患；一脱于此，必能再发，终力微笑。不可不知也！
《诗诀》壬戌庚辰日德宫，甲寅戊丙要骑龙；运逢身旺心慈善，日德居多福自丰。
《诗诀》刑冲破害官财旺，空与魁罡会合凶；剋战孤贫危险甚，纵交发跡命还终。
《诗诀》甲寅壬戌与庚辰，丙戊逢辰日德真；不喜空亡嫌禄破，更逢破害与刑冲。
《诗诀》丙辰切忌见壬辰，壬戌提防戊戌临；日坐庚辰与庚戌，甲寅还且虑庚辰。
《诗诀》日德不喜见魁罡，化成杀曜最难当；局中重见须还疾，运限逢之必定亡。
《诗诀》日德重逢免祸殃，官星切忌见财乡；更无冲破空刑物，堪作朝中一栋樑。
