按日有六十宿有二十八四百二十日而一周四百二十者以六十与二十八俱可以度尽也故有七元之说一元甲子日起虚以子象鼠而虚为日鼠也二元甲子起奎三元甲子起毕四元甲子起鬼五元甲子起翼六元甲子起氐七元甲子起箕至七元尽而甲子又起虚周而复始但一元起于何年月日则不可得而考矣
二十八宿直日所属七曜及异名
虚昴星房为太阳蚤日危毕张心为太隂莫日室觜翼尾属火壁参轸箕属水奎井角斗属木娄鬼亢牛属金胃柳氐女属土
十二辰禽象分隂阳 十二辰禽象以二十八宿之列于十二宫者配之既见首卷又有以十二象分隂阳者子前四刻为昨夜之隂后四刻为今日之阳犹冬至前为隂冬至后为阳也故鼠前足四爪后足五爪丑属隂故牛蹄分寅属阳故虎五爪卯属隂故缺唇且四爪辰属阳故龙五爪巳属隂故蛇舌分午属阳故马蹄圆未属隂故羊蹄分申属阳故猴五爪酉属隂故鸡四爪戌属阳故狗五爪亥属隂故猪蹄分
