夫日一昼一夜十二时当均分于一日故上智设铜壶贮水漏下壶箭箭分百刻以度之虽日月晦明终不能逃是一日之中有百刻之也夫六气通主一岁则一气主六十日八十七刻半乃知交气之时有早晏也冬夏日有长短之异则昼夜互相推移而日出入时刻不同然终于百刻矣其气交之刻则不能移也甲子之岁初之气始于漏水下一刻终于八十七刻半子正之中也二之气复始于八十七刻六分终于七十五刻戌正四刻也三之气复始于七十六刻终于六十二刻半酉正之中也四之气复始于六十二刻六分终于五十一刻未正四刻也五之气复始于五十一刻终于三十七刻半午正之中也六之气复始于三十七刻六分终于二十五刻辰正四刻也此之谓周天之岁度余刻交入乙丑岁之初气矣如此而转至戊辰年初之气复始于漏水下一刻则四歳而一小周也故申子辰气㑹同者此也已酉丑初之气俱起于二十六刻寅午戌初之气俱起于五十一刻亥卯未初之气俱起于七十六刻气皆起于同刻故谓之三合义由此也以十五小周为一大周则六十年也三车一览以申为水之生子为水之旺辰为水之库故申子辰三合而不知气起于同刻乃天道自然之妙耳
