天倾西北亥为出水之方地陷东南辰为纳水之府逆流到申而作声故水不西流水之性润下顺则有容顺行十二辰顺也主有度量有吉神扶助乃贵格逆则有声逆行十二辰逆也入格者主清贵有声誉忌刑冲则横流爱自死自绝则吉水不绝源仗金生而流远水流泛滥赖土尅以隄防水火均则合既济之美水土混则有浊源之凶四时皆忌火多则水受渴忌见土重则水不流忌见金死金死则水囚忌见木旺木旺则水死沈芝云水命动摇多主浊滥阴人尤忌之口诀云阳水身弱穷阴水身弱贵生于春月性滥滔淫再逢水助必有崩堤之势若加土盛则无泛涨之忧喜金生扶不宜金盛欲火既济不要火多见木而可以施功无土而仍愁散漫夏月之水执性归源时当涸际欲得比肩喜金生而助体忌火旺而太炎木盛则耗盗其气土旺则尅制其流秋月之水母旺水相里莹表光得金助则能清澄逢土旺则嫌混浊火多而财盛太过不宜木重而妻荣中和为利重重见水增其泛滥之忧叠叠逢土始得清平之意冬月之水司令专权遇火则增煖除寒见土则形藏归化金多反曰无义木盛是谓有情土太过尅制水死水泛涨喜土为堤
