满盘浊气令人苦，一局清枯也苦人，半浊半清犹是可，多成多败度晨昏。

甲戌
戊戌日元，生于辰月巳时，木退气，土乘权，印绶重逢。用官则被庚金合坏，用食则官又不从化，而火又克金，无奈何而用财，又有巳时遥冲，又不当令；若邀庚金生助，贪合忘生，且遥隔无情，所以起倒不一，幸而财官尚有余气，至乙亥运，补起财官，遂成小康。

火长夏令，原属旺论，然时在季夏，火气稍退，兼之重叠伤官泄气，丑乃湿土，能晦丙火之光，以旺变弱。浊气当权 ，清气失势，兼之先行三十年火土运，半生起倒多端。至乙卯甲寅，木蔬厚土，扫除浊气，生扶日元，卫护官星，左图右史，财茂业成。

此造大略观之，财生官，官生印，印生身，似乎清美，无如午未南方，火烈土焦，能脆金，不能生金；且木从火势，又坏印绶，无生化之情，非清枯而何？更嫌运走东方，一生未遂，所谓“明月清风谁与共，高山流水少知音”也。
