Middle Hidden Stem in BaZi
Deep Oracle Editorial Team · 2026-08-11 · 1 min read
Middle Hidden Stem is a BaZi hidden-stem layer term. It marks a secondary line inside some branches, especially when that line is revealed by a stem or timing cycle.
Reading Role
Use it to place the term in the correct pillar, stem, branch, hidden-stem, or timing layer before drawing interpretation.
Example
In a chart fragment, this term changes what gets read first: location, support, season, or direction of element flow. That keeps the reading from collapsing into a single label.
Limit
Do not assume every branch has middle qi.
