Residual Hidden Stem in BaZi
Deep Oracle Editorial Team · 2026-08-11 · 1 min read
Residual Hidden Stem is a BaZi hidden-stem layer term. It records a weaker background line that matters most when activated by stems or timing.
Reading Role
Use it to place the term in the correct pillar, stem, branch, hidden-stem, or timing layer before drawing interpretation.
Example
In a chart fragment, this term changes what gets read first: location, support, season, or direction of element flow. That keeps the reading from collapsing into a single label.
Limit
Do not turn residual qi into the main reading.
