Form and Qi in BaZi

Form and Qi is a BaZi element-balance term. It helps describe climate, momentum, support, restraint, or flow inside the chart.
Example
Use it to compare season, day-master strength, stems, branches, roots, revelation, and luck-cycle activation.
Limit
It is not a standalone forecast or a fixed favorable/unfavorable rule. Read it with the full chart structure.

之极至者言则曰太极又何尝有二邪向非周子启其秘朱子阐而明之孰知太极之为理而与气自不相离也哉所谓太极者乃阴阳动静之本体不离于形气而实无声臭不穷于变化而实有凖则故一动一静互为其根分阴分阳两仪立焉仪者物也凡物未始无对而亦未尝独立天以气覆而依乎地地以形载而附乎天有理斯有气阴阳之谓也有气斯有形天地之谓也天地不生
先看重轻盛衰尊卑逆顺，次分彼我紧慢情意，相续干音亲义四柱，然不合冲类干头配合之理先看三元支干本意，以辨四柱之力，有形视形气之厚薄，凡化象之有性操用度之浅深，勿论得地不得地，辨尊卑之胜负也。
冠带者,形气渐⻓,犹人之年⻓而冠带也。
冠带者，形气渐长，犹人之年长而冠带也。
且如生之理，形气始分，赤子未离于褓，精华初判，婴儿初脱于胞胎。
俄度俄测，彼犹可以历意演自然之理，考方来之朕，独以无所祖而寡疑焉可乎予少也好学，耻一物之未知，探穷通晓形气，每患乎五家章句之既泯，而浮灵下俚之制作，类乎其间，后得廖君书，而文忠周公宴叙其篇，慨然抚卷而叹曰：前辈宗工于小道，可视之用不庆，盖如此。
