Date and birth-hour evidence
Palace Museum records place Zhu Yuanzhang's birth on the eighteenth day of the ninth lunar month in 1328, at Zhongli in Haozhou. A Palace Museum publication converts that date to 21 October 1328. Neither source records a birth hour, so this page leaves it unknown.
Why no chart is published
The current BaZi engine cannot compute dates from 1328. This page therefore publishes no Pillars, stems and branches, Day Master, pattern, strength, Ten Gods, auxiliary stars, luck cycles, or annual-cycle conclusions. It does not reverse-engineer a chart from Zhu's life. For supported modern dates, use the free BaZi chart.
Confirmed historical scope
The Palace Museum sources support this limited sequence: Zhu came from a poor household and entered Huangjue Temple as a monk; he joined Guo Zixing in 1352, captured Jiqing in 1356, founded the Ming dynasty in 1368, and died in 1398. These are historical records, not inputs for chart inference.
