Tony Leung — BaZi Chart Analysis

Tony Leung Chiu-wai (1962–) is one of Hong Kong cinema’s most acclaimed actors, with multiple Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Actor. His collaborations with Wong Kar-wai, including In the Mood for Love and 2046, are modern classics, and he received the Venice Film Festival Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement in 2023.

A Yan Shang structure — the Fire-dominant special structure, and the only instance in either cohort. A somewhat strong Bing Fire day master with Qi Sha on the year and Bi Jian on the month, a Yin–Wu half-trine resolving to Fire reinforcing the dominance, and a Yin–Shen clash cutting across it. A special structure of this kind is classically read as a chart that works with its dominance rather than balancing it, and the clash is the one place where that dominance meets resistance.
