Two birth-year accounts
The Shiji's Biography of the Marquis of Huaiyin identifies Han Xin as a man of Huaiyin and records no birth year, month, day, or hour. A Huaiyin District Government biography gives 230–196 BCE, while a Qingjiangpu District Government biography gives approximately 231–196 BCE. This page retains approximately 231 BCE as its visible year but preserves the 230 BCE alternative. The astronomical value -230 stores civil 231 BCE; 1 January is only an internal sorting value and is not a birthday.
What the Shiji supports
The biography records Han Xin's early poverty, his service under Xiang Liang and Xiang Yu, his move to Han, Xiao He's recommendation, appointment to high command, campaigns against Wei, Zhao, and Qi, investiture as king of Qi and then Chu, later reduction to Marquis of Huaiyin, and execution in 196 BCE. These events do not establish a chart.
Why no chart is published
The current BaZi engine cannot compute BCE dates. This page therefore publishes no Pillars, stems and branches, Day Master, pattern, strength, Ten Gods, auxiliary stars, luck cycles, or annual-cycle conclusions. It does not infer a chart from warfare, rank, or death. For supported dates, use the free BaZi chart.
