Neither format can raise the resolution of the framework itself. The calendrical system used in Chinese metaphysics operates in yearly, monthly, daily, and hourly units, but many readings rely on year-level cycles such as 大运 or annual 干支. A year is a coarse unit. Meeting in person does not make a year-level statement point to a specific day. A face-to-face reader may say that a certain year is unfavorable for contracts, but the method itself does not distinguish between March and September unless the analysis moves to smaller units.

Online tools can display finer units, but they cannot create precision that the underlying method does not support. The limitation is in the system, not in the medium. Both face-to-face and online readings are bound by the same calendrical resolution. No amount of personal attention or software detail can turn an annual indication into a daily prediction unless the practitioner explicitly changes the level of analysis, and even then the result depends on the method, not on the meeting.
