What Gong He Means

A Gong He arch combination appears when the two flanking branches of a San He trio are adjacent in the natal four pillars while the central peak branch is absent. It is a structural hint, not a completed San He formation.

Deep Oracle reports Gong He only inside the natal chart, and only when the two branches sit in adjacent pillar positions: year-month, month-day, or day-hour. It does not form Gong He across luck pillars, annual pillars, monthly pillars, or daily pillars.

The engine records Gong He with transforms=false. That means the missing branch is noted as an embraced branch, but the chart is not treated as if a full transformation has happened.

Common Questions

Is Gong He the same as a full San He combination?
No. A full San He combination has all three branches. Gong He has only the two flanking branches and the middle branch is absent.
