What AI Cannot Calculate: Three Blind Spots in Fate Analysis
Deep Oracle Practitioner Desk · 2026-09-19 · 7 min read
The term AI算不出来的事 refers to matters that a computational system cannot derive from the structured input it actually receives, regardless of how fluent or confident its output may appear. In the context of this site, the phrase is used to mark a boundary: certain conclusions require data, categories, or situational judgment that the underlying framework does not possess. These are not limitations that can be removed by making the model larger or by phrasing the question differently. They are structural.
三类它结构上算不出来的事
The site distinguishes three kinds of things that the system structurally cannot calculate. They are not the same kind of failure. The first kind is missing from the input. The second kind is missing from the framework’s resolution. The third kind requires judgment in a present situation. Each has a different origin, and each calls for a different response when it appears in an answer.
第一类:输入里没有的资料
The first category consists of material that is absent from the input. Examples include the longitude and latitude of the birthplace, the person’s name, physical appearance, and current circumstances. None of these are supplied to the engine.
The engine used by this site receives only four fields of input: the date, the clock hour, the minute, and the sex. That is the entire input. From those fields, the system derives the sexagenary markers, including the four pillars of year, month, day, and hour. It does not receive geographic coordinates, so it cannot derive a true local solar time adjusted for longitude. It does not receive a name, so it cannot analyze the strokes or sounds of characters in that name. It does not receive a photograph or a description of appearance, so it cannot assess facial structure, body form, or manner. It does not receive details about a person’s job, housing, relationships, or health, so it cannot weigh how a given configuration interacts with a specific life setting.
When a tool produces answers about such matters, the first question to ask is where it obtained the input. If the input was never provided, then the answer is not a calculation from the four fields. It is either an inference from statistical patterns, a guess dressed in the language of the system, or a fabrication.
第二类:框架本身没有的分辨率
The second category concerns resolution that the framework itself does not have. Examples include a specific date, a specific monetary amount, a specific person’s name, and a specific disease name.
The framework operates on year, month, day, and hour pillars. One year is represented by a single pair of 干支 characters. That is the unit of resolution for a year. A single annual pillar cannot point to one particular day within the year. It does not contain the information that would distinguish one day from another in the way that the day pillar does. It also does not contain amounts in currency, names of individuals, or diagnostic labels from modern medicine.
This means that when someone asks for the exact day on which an event will occur, the framework does not have a mechanism to produce that day from a yearly or monthly pillar alone. When someone asks for a figure such as a sum of money, the framework has no field that maps a combination of stems and branches to a number in yuan or dollars. When someone asks for the name of a person who will appear, the framework has no name registry. When someone asks for a disease name, the framework has no mapping from a pillar combination to a diagnostic category.
When a tool gives an answer of this second kind, the useful question is how the claimed precision was derived from the 干支. If the derivation cannot be shown, the precision is probably not coming from the system. It is being added by the model in a way that mimics the style of a calculation without having the underlying structure.
第三类:需要现场判断的事
The third category consists of matters that require judgment in a concrete situation. The same structural tendency can correspond to entirely different actions in different contexts.
A configuration may indicate a period of pressure. In one person’s circumstances, the appropriate response might be to reduce commitments and rest. In another person’s circumstances, the same period might call for pressing forward on a deadline because the pressure comes from an external obligation that cannot be postponed. The 干支 structure describes a tendency; it does not prescribe a single action. The right action depends on information that is not in the four fields: what the person is responsible for, what resources are available, what constraints are present, and what the person is trying to achieve.
The same logic applies to relationship questions, career questions, and questions about timing. A configuration that suggests friction in one setting might suggest productive competition in another. The framework cannot judge which setting applies. Judgment belongs to the person who is living the situation.
When a tool produces an answer of this third kind, it can be treated as one possibility, not as a recommendation. A possibility is something to test against the facts on the ground. A recommendation is an instruction to act. The system is not in a position to issue the instruction, because it does not know the ground.
看到它给出这三类答案时
The three categories call for three different responses.
When the answer is of the first kind — information missing from the input — the response is to ask where the tool got that input. If the engine received only date, hour, minute, and sex, then a statement about a person’s name or appearance or current situation has no source in the data. The question is not whether the statement feels plausible. The question is source.
When the answer is of the second kind — a level of precision the framework does not have — the response is to ask how that precision was derived from the 干支. If the answer is a specific date or a specific amount, the derivation should be traceable. If no trace is offered, the precision is not an output of the framework. It is an artifact of the model’s fluency.
When the answer is of the third kind — an action judgment that depends on the situation — the response is to hold it as a possibility. It may be worth considering. It is not a command. The final judgment remains with the person who has the full picture of their life.

This site draws the boundary in a specific way. It does not accept longitude or name as input. It does not provide specific dates or monetary amounts as output. It does not make judgments about lifespan, serious illness, accidents, imprisonment, or bankruptcy.
These exclusions follow directly from the three categories. Longitude and name belong to the first category: they are inputs the engine does not receive, so the site does not pretend to use them. Specific dates and amounts belong to the second category: they exceed the resolution of the framework, so the site does not produce them. Lifespan, serious illness, accidents, imprisonment, and bankruptcy belong to the third category: they require a level of situational and medical or legal judgment that a 干支 structure cannot supply on its own, so the site does not issue those judgments.
The boundary is not a matter of caution alone. It is a matter of structure. The engine can calculate what the input and the framework allow. Beyond that, the words may look like an answer, but the calculation is not there. The term AI算不出来的事 names exactly that gap.
